NVLSP Statement On President Biden’s Executive Order To Improve Access to Home-Based Care For Military Veterans and their Families
The National Veterans Legal Services Program (NVLSP) issued the following statement in response to President Biden’s Executive Order on April 18 increasing access to high-quality care and supporting caregivers including military veterans and their families.
“NVLSP applauds President Biden’s Executive Order which shines a light on the health care and well-being of military veterans and their families. The President’s actions prioritize veterans care and represent critical progress in our nation upholding its sacred pledge to veterans and their families. We appreciate this administration’s recognition of the importance of the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers (PCAFC) and efforts to improve the program.”
